Smithsonian ACCelerate Exhibition

The Virtual Martin Luther King (vMLK) Project displayed from October 13th – 15th 2017 at the Smithsonian as part of a new festival highlighting innovative research.

“ACCelerate: ACC Smithsonian Creativity and Innovation Festival” was a three-day celebration of creative exploration and research at the National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C.. Faculty from the Department of Communication attended the festival and present portions of the transmedia experiences in order to allow visitors to immerse themselves in King’s historic speech, “A Creative Protest [Fill Up the Jails].”
